Truth or Consequences was an old show, way back when. What do you do if someone lies on you? Defamation happens in life. However, we generally don’t have the resources to sue for millions of dollars. When people steal your ideas and identity, what then? Well, there’s identity theft insurance, but how can you prove that to make a claim? So, you’re damned if you do, and damned if you don’t. Sounds pretty futile but not the end of the world. Right?

This week Dominion got a settlement on their defamation suit against Fox News. $787 million dollars or so. Not my money. Meanwhile, this old girl has to go to work wiping butts, to pay my bills. Or go bankrupt and retire. The hazards of other money making games, and the consequences of them are prohibitive. I don’t want to die or go to prison trying to make a living. That’s what it’s all about in this world, your money and getting it, using it and keeping it. Good luck, out there betwixt the society, the hazards and the penalties. But you make your way to rewards.
